14 Sep Risk and Compliance Officer
This is a great opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Officer to join a wealth solutions company.
The role holder will carry out the functions of risk management with emphasis on ensuring that the business operates within all required legislation and regulation; with particular responsibility for providing compliance support to the PCD department and conducting monitoring activities as required under our risk based monitoring plan.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- • Monitoring new and impending legislation/regulation that may affect the business, liaising with colleagues responsible for business areas to prepare summary reports for ARCO, including commentary on impact for business and action required
- Management of authorised signatories and subsidiary company due diligence
- Undertake relevant searches of databases upon receipt of Liaison Notices by the Jersey Financial Crime Unit or updates to Sanctions Lists provided by Group/HMRC and record action taken on register
- Undertake daily reviews of the Jersey Financial Services Commission website and ensure all public notices / press releases / latest news and publications are circulated
