Our client, a Family Office, are looking for an Operations Officer who will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Funds/SPVs & Fund Manager and to maintain oversight of external service providers. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the middle office operations that are undertaken by the Team which will include both financial and administrative activities. The candidate will work closely with the Operations Manager, and the business unit.

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Co-ordination of external service providers and day to day oversight of externally managed Special Purpose Vehicles (“SPVs”) and Investment Funds;

 Responsibility for the Key Performance Indicator reporting process used to evaluate performance of external service providers;

 Responsibility for the administration of internally managed AIFSB Fund Manager in accordance with group policies and procedures and JFSC regulatory requirements;

 Co-ordination of the Drawdown and Distribution process for the Funds;

 Review of monthly NAVs for  Funds, Quarterly Management accounts and Annual financial statements for Funds and underlying SPVs;

 Provide operational support in closing transactions: liaising with business unit, Group Tax & Legal to co-ordinate the establishment of new investment structures as required. Coordination of external service providers to ensure timely completion of transactions/ restructurings and refinancings;

 Facilitate the preparation of corporate documents / resolutions where required, i.e. review of draft BoD minutes and arranging formalisation in close co-ordination with internal departments and external service providers;

 Manage on-going maintenance of Company / Partnership statutory records and transactions to ensure the accuracy of Blue Print database information in relation to assigned assets;

 Undertake periodic client entity reviews, regular risk assessments and attend annual external due diligence reviews;

Experience and Qualifications:

 Educated to degree level, holding / working towards a professional qualification (ACA, ACCA/ICSA)

 5+ years comprehensive experience within the finance industry

 Knowledge and experience of real estate investment structures

 Good technical knowledge of trust & corporate administration and accounting

 Knowledge of local legislation, regulation and corporate governance best practice

 High degree of self-motivation, initiative and enthusiasm with good attention to detail
