We have a great opportunity for a Competition Lawyer, working for a company responsible for the administration and enforcement of competition law across the Channel Islands. In this role, you would be expected to be able to advise on all areas of competition law across both Guernsey and Jersey. This makes for an extremely varied and challenging workload.
Reporting to the Legal Director, the in-house competition counsel will have responsibility for undertaking competition law enforcement work. They will advise on all aspects of the Channel Islands’ competition law regimes including cartel investigations, antitrust litigation, restrictive agreements, dominance issues and merger control.
- Advocate of Royal Court / Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland (or equivalent)
- Professional membership of Law Society of England and Wales or equivalent body
- At least 5 years PQE gained in competition law at a national or international law firm.
