Alexander Daniels Introduces ‘Dress For Your Day’ Initiative

The recruitment business is all about keeping people happy; our clients, our candidates and of course, our staff, too. We’ve done a number of unique initiatives for our team over the years, but our latest is “Dress For Your Day”. We’re all adults and we all know what’s in our diary for the day and in the off-chance the sunny streets of St Helier or St Peter Port reach into the sweltering 20s, why stick on a three-piece if we’re not seeing clients all day? That’s why we’ve introduced “Dress For Your Day”, allowing staff to dress in what they feel most comfortable in, based on their commitments for the day.

We’ll still insist that everybody is smart and presentable when meeting with clients or candidates but on those days where we’re beavering away behind our screens, it’s time to slip on a onesie and fur slippers… or whatever they feel most comfortable commuting and sitting in the office in.

It’s all part of our commitment to a flexible approach to working which we’ll be continuing to expand upon over the coming months and years, our other initiatives include;

“Don’t Feel Like It Days” where staff can phone up (before 9, that is!) and simply tell us, “I’m not feeling it today” and enjoy a paid day off last minute to focus on personal endeavours and early finishes on a Friday for individuals who reach their personal weekly performance targets.
